FC Minneapolis 2nd team finds tough challenge in Fall Cup

After a somewhat successful summer season, the City Lions decided to give more playing opportunities to their 2nd team who hadn’t seen more playing time this year so for the Fall Cup, the Club’s squad was composed of 90% B team players with a few first team players such as Luis Rodriguez, Sendi Ian, and Demba Jameh.

The team played its first game two weeks ago and lost 1:0 to Twin City FC before facing off with Gargar FC last Sunday in one of their worst defeats this year so far.

The City Lions’ young lads will be facing a well-prepared Granite City Senior Team today and it’s up to question how the lads are going to show up tonight.

Sendi who played just a few minutes of the first half last Sunday due to a persistent headache will be back in today’s game and hopefully, he can give some inspiration to the young squad.
