FC Minneapolis sets a new date for first-team trials!

Following the extension of Minnesota’s stay home order to May 18th, FC Minneapolis has moved to reschedule their upcoming trials to June 6th, 8:00 am at the new Park Center turf soccer fields.

The trials had previously been slated for March 21st but due to the growing COVID-19 threat, the club has made another decision to push them forward in order to protect the safety and well-being of their athletes, staff, and their families.

“We are all dealing with very challenging and unusual times, so we would like to further request all those concerned to exercise more patience, and be more flexible with us as we try to coordinate with the relevant authorities before we can get things rolling.” Said, James Oluranti.

FC Minneapolis continues to monitor the situation very closely and will be sure to communicate one week before June 6th to confirm if everything is still on schedule.

For now, the club encourages all athletes to observe their diet, work out at home, exercise good hygiene, and keep the social distance guidelines.
