Following a successful season last year, FC Minneapolis is preparing to defend the American Premier League (APL) Title come summer 2016.
With new teams on board like Minnesota TwinStars, Duluth FC and Granite City FC in St. Cloud, all based in Minnesota as well as La Crosse Aris FC from Wisconsin and FC Fargo from North Dakota, FC Minneapolis is aware it’s going to require their very best to compete and maintain their respect as champions in the Midwestern region of the United States.
FC Minneapolis Head Coach Varney Cole, the man behind the team’s success in the 2015 season, has also expressed his excitement for his team’s continued participation in the improved American Premier League.
Speaking in our briefing, Ian Sendi said that, “We have a great team and great players. This season gives us the opportunity to compete against the very best of players in the Midwest and personally I am excited! I hope each player and coach understands the challenge we now face even as defending champions, and are all prepared to play their part to keep our team strong in this competition.”
All our home league games this season will be played in Blaine at the National Sports Center Stadium with 7:00pm kickoffs. This will make FC Minneapolis the only league team sharing the National Sports Center Stadium with Minnesota United – a member of the North American Soccer League.
The club will host Open Tryouts on March 5th at the start of the 2016 APL pre-season in hopes of finding players to add to their roster, details at www.fcminneapolis.com/trials

Hello! Quick question that’s completely off topic. Do you know how to make your site
mobile friendly? My blog looks weird when browsing from my iphone 4.
I’m trying to find a template or plugin that might be
able to correct this problem. If you have any recommendations,
please share. Appreciate it!
