FC Minneapolis is pleased to welcome Bryan Velez as the newest member of our UPSL First Division team family for the 2026 season.
Bryan joins the club with a strong passion for the game, a growing background in competitive soccer, and a mindset centered on development, discipline, and team contribution. Having played the game since early childhood, Bryan has continued to build his experience over the years, most recently competing with Manitou FC’s U19 EA boys team. His journey reflects both commitment and resilience, and we are excited to see him take this next step with our club.
A versatile player, Bryan is comfortable operating in a number of roles, including left back, midfielder, and center mid. He describes himself as a player who brings technical quality, vision, versatility, and creativity in possession, along with a strong desire to continue improving every part of his game. That hunger to grow, combined with his willingness to adapt and compete, is exactly the kind of quality we value at FC Minneapolis.
As he begins this new chapter, Bryan has made it clear that his goals for the season are to improve his tactical understanding, technical sharpness, and physical abilities, while also adjusting to the demands and speed of the next level of football beyond youth soccer. Just as importantly, he hopes to build a strong sense of belonging within the squad and contribute positively to the culture of the team.
We are truly excited to have Bryan join us. We believe his experience, technical ability, and player profile will be very instrumental in how we collectively show up as a team this season. He is a young player with ambition, character, and a clear vision for his development, and we are proud to welcome him into the FC Minneapolis family.
