David is a former Nigerian U17 National Team Player who also played for the Shaktar Donesk  U21 team. He also spent some time with Greek giants Panathiniakos briefly for negotiation and he brings in great professional experience to our club.

David who joined our team in 2018 was also previously called James Oluranti before legally changing his name to Oluwalaanu David Adeola.

His past professional experience in Europe coupled with his National Team Experience with Nigeria enabled him to transform FC Minneapolis into a football powerhouse in the United Premier Soccer League, reaching Division Semis, and becoming the first team in the entire State of Minnesota to reach the US National Cup Regional Finals and the Champions of Regions Semis during the 2021 Summer season within these 3 years he has been in charge of the club.

His unique game identity together with strong leadership managed to convince top-level players with previous National Team Experiences like Uganda’s Ian Sendi and Nigeria’s Gafar Ayodele to stay at the club which has also further enhanced the image of the club both locally and across the globe.
