The 30-year-old Mexican international officially joined the City Lions on a one-year contract on March 10 and is already training with his team-mates.
Alan, a prolific middle fielder, initially linked up with FC Minneapolis’ training squad and has now broken into the first team and will be running out at the Einer Anderson Stadium this season.
He told the club’s official website: “For me, it’s a great opportunity and I hope to make the most of being at such a big club.
“I joined FC Minneapolis because of the progress that the club is making. The decision to come here was made because it is a brilliant opportunity to join an interesting club in the American Premier League.
“The prospect of playing in front of our faithful fans this year really catches my attention, and it is a stadium that has so much history in an amazing City. I am hoping to be able to get the opportunity to do that and I hope that it will be soon.”
