Liberia’s Peter Paye ready for Minneapolis job!

Paye is a Liberian Striker gifted with a powerful left foot.
 
He played high school soccer for four years and while finishing his last three years at Bordentown he was privileged to play in college and further his studies and soccer career at the Summit University of Pennsylvania.
 
At the end of his junior year of college he was given An Award for All Conference in the NCCAA and after his senior season at Summit, he was given the Offensive Player of the Year Award in the NCCAA.
 
As a player on the men’s soccer team he was honored to serve as a summer soccer camp counselor for four years and he learned so many good things from his head coaches and teammates about teamwork, humility, selflessness, team unity, hard work, and dedication.
 
He also got the chance to volunteer for On Goal Soccer Ministry in Cincinnati, Ohio for five years. He traveled all over the United States to help mentor young boys and girls about the unique game of soccer and he Played with some incredible soccer players from all over the globe as he volunteered for On Goal.
 
After his few years as a volunteer with Summit University and On Goal Soccer he moved to Minnesota where FC Minneapolis noticed his eye catching soccer skills during the 2016 Spring Tryouts and offered him a one year contract.
 
He has vowed to give his very best and help the team succeed in every way possible as a player.
 
He recently requested for the shirt 17 and the club agreed to give it to him after Darius who has been awarded with the club’s prestigious shirt 10. Paye also known as Peter Junior, is a very proud Christian who uses his talent as a way of bringing Glory to God.
