FC Minneapolis to sign Mexican midfielder from Croatian Eagles!

Today FC Minneapolis confirmed that Miguel Lopez will be joining the club on May 13th just a day before the City Lions face the Twinstars in the American Premier League opener at the Hopkins HS Stadium kick off being 7:oopm.

Miguel, tried out with the club on March 5th and his performance left an impression on the coaching staff. He is currently finalizing his duties at his present club and will be joining the rest of the team just a day before the league opener.

He now joins a long list of new faces that the club will soon be unveiling at the Einer Anderson Stadium before its watching fans.

Coach Varney, who has on several occasions stated his mission to win more and more trophies for the club, believes adding Miguel to his roster makes this a more realistic ambition and he is greatly pleased with the Mexican’s move to the the club.

Miguel was offered a one year contract and he has been given the shirt 13 after Zerihun Abebe who played the same role for the club before retiring last year.
