Ghana’s Amoah Kwaku a vital part of FC Minneapolis’ strength!

After joining FC Minneapolis from Fresno Fuego FC in the summer of 2016, Amoah Kwaku quickly established his brand as one of the finest defenders Minneapolis had ever seen.

It was not going to take months before City Lion fans would start referring to him as the ‘Landlord’, a nickname derived from his ability to portray his dominating presence in the defensive halves – one would suggest that the Ghanaian defender owned the land title to every ground he played on!

At only 24, Amoah is already radiating star status. His ability to lead the defense and stay calm during unlikely situations has made him such a valuable leader in the City Lions’ family and there’s no doubt his contribution to the team was a great factor in the overall improvement that was recorded towards the end of the club’s summer campaign previously.

He is currently in Indiana, USA but he is expected to report for pre-season along with teammates in the Spring of 2017.
