Fabian Aguilar is a 19 years old Mexican born in Teotlalco. Since joining FC Minneapolis the striker has been a promising kind, spending almost every game at the bench in the first half of the American Premier League but picking up from there to catch the attention of Varney Cole and convincingly positioning himself as a starter in the City Lions’ most recent fixtures like the Minneapolis Derby against Minneapolis City SC to mention but a few.
“Fabian is very much a committed player.” Said team mate Ian Sendi. “He is one of those who put everything in them into the game. He believes exceedingly, dreams unendingly and plays amazingly.” Ian Spoke of the forward.
Many other players and staff have said the same about the Mexican.
“For sure He is a great addition to our squad and if he continues that way he will have a good time here in Minneapolis.” Said Varney Cole, the club’s head coach.
Fabian Aguilar currently wears the shirt 16, a number he inherited from Ochan Ochogi when he took over the famous shirt 11 after the departure of Benjamin Lee in the early 2016 Season.
He has currently been on a one-year contract with the club but he is expected to enter into renewal negotiations with FC Minneapolis to determine his future at the club come Spring 2017.
“I could not be more proud than being a Lion! Next season I hope to prove myself that I can inspire and become the person I want to be.” Fabian Aguilar.
