The young Mexican defender, Jose Sanchez also known as Chepe just signed with FC Minneapolis at the age of 20. He is a daring right back with good speed and a quick foot. He’s an outside back that likes to join the attack and takes on players in the opponent’s side of the field. He can play as a central defender, sweeper, or defensive midfielder.
He told the club’s official website: “This is a great chance for me, and I intend to take advantage of it. I know it wont be easy since we’re playing against tough teams but I will give my all in every game”
Jose came back and trained with the club today after a knee injury and he is expected to be part of the squad that will be traveling to Blaine to face Minnesota United Reserves in the City Lions second exhibition match of the pre season before the league opener with Minnesota Twin Stars on May 14th in the City of Hopkins the former home of FC Minneapolis.
