Mark Dweh who joined FC Minneapolis in the summer of 2016 had his first presence felt in Duluth when he scored FC Minneapolis’ second goal against Duluth FC in the first eight minutes of the game during the club’s past league campaign.
His defensive abilities coupled with speed have made him a valuable left back in the City Lions’ Den and there’s no doubt that the twenty-four-year-old Liberian will be renewing his contract with the club come spring 2017.
Mark who wears the number three at the back of his shirt is very much a modern defender. His ability to read offensive runs and position himself on time and on point make him such a valuable defensive asset, no wonder he has been able to announce himself over and over again to the City Lions’ fans as a specialist in counter attacks due to his ability to connect from the defensive halves to the attacking wings and recover swiftly to play his role, something only players like Mark Dweh can do.
