We dropped to the 10th of the table after a home defeat at Maple Grove Dome in our spring season opener this Wednesday.
A mistimed header from Gafar Ayodele and a lofty header from a strong Hawk cross put us two goals behind the visitors before Ariel Gbalenchey made it 2-1 with a long-range effort after barely more than half an hour.
We continued to pepper the visitors’ goal at the start of the second half before they pulled a third one back to make it 3-1 through Demba Jameh’s own goal.
We couldn’t reach the heights we scaled in the opening half for the rest of the game, and the three points were denied.
