As the club comes to the close of its present decade, there’s a need to sit back and imagine what the next 10 years are going to look like for this budding club. One thing that’s been very close to the heart of the club’s imagination is envisioning a future where they are humble enough to recognize their shortcomings, limitations, and brokenness, but also where they are brave enough to confront their fears and overcome obstacles to become true leaders.
That’s why the club is moving to change its nickname from City Lions to Lion Kings, to reference the club’s commitment to accepting responsibility and embracing one’s true identity, and to reflect the club’s core character of braveness, pride, and leadership.
