FC Minneapolis comes from behind to win 4-2 against Oromo United in today’s final match at the Gordy Aarmoth.

The City Lions started the second half a goal down but the Minneapolis men managed to find an equalizer from Solomon Ikechi’s strike before Liberia’s Mark Dweh scored to make it 2-1.

The visitors were able to find an equalizer before Ian Sendi would be tackled to earn his side a free kick at the edge of the box which was taken and scored beautifully by Will Davis, the club’s latest signing from Mass United.

Sendi was again brought down as he tried to find his way past the opponent’s defensive line still winning another free-kick for his side in a very crucial spot a few yards from the goal line.

Will Davis was the man to take the kick and again, he scored helping the hosts to double their lead by full time.

FC Minneapolis will play Granite City in the next round of the Lion’s Cup on Tuesday at North Hennepin.
