“In football we win some, draw some and lose some; today we just happened to lose some.” Ian Sendi said after his team suffered a tough 3-1 loss to the Brooklyn Knights today at the Gordy Aarmoth.
The team has played 4 tough games in a space of 7 days winning 2 and losing 2.
“The boys have hardly had a day to train or recover from all the traveling and the playing.” Added Sendi. “We surely need to ensure that our players get enough rest in between games as that will help them perform better in the future and also avoid unnecessary injuries.”
FC Minneapolis will take a day off tomorrow and resume training on Monday in preparation for their home game with Mass United on July 1st.
