On Wednesday, September 14th, FC Minneapolis confirmed Ugandan Midfielder Michael SSekitoleko as their latest addition to the club’s roster ahead of the Minnesota Fall Cup slated to kick off this Sunday, September 18th.
Ssekitoleko who touched down at the Minneapolis International Airport a few weeks ago has been training with the team undergoing careful evaluation and assessment and the Minneapolis Head Coach David Oluwalaanu believes he will be of great impact this season.
The Ugandan midfielder first played with the City Lions in the summer of 2019 but was unable to continue with the club following the Covid 19 pandemic that prevented him from returning to the United States in 2020.
He is expected to be in today’s lineup against Twin City FC in Brooklyn Center, MN.
