FC Minneapolis sets date for Final Tryout before season kick-off!

FC Minneapolis recently organized a successful soccer tryout at the Health East Sports Center in Woodbury, through which we were able to identify some potential players to join our squad as we prepare to begin to play in the Pro Premier Division of the United Premier Soccer League slated to kick off in the Spring of 2018.

In spite of the fact that we managed to find some very talented individuals who will be announced on our roster shortly, we still have some open positions that we are hoping to fill through one more tryout to be held on March 10th, 8:00 pm at the Hopkins Pavilion in Hopkins during this year’s Spring Break.

One advantage of being an FC Minneapolis player is having two seasons of play in a year. The Spring Season starts from April to July while the Fall Season starts from August to November. This allows a player more time on the field, more access to high profile games, and better chances to develop professionally.

Another benefit for our players is participation in the qualifying rounds of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup through our affiliation and membership with the UPSL, the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA). Also, all players get access to secondary insurance during the season.

Therefore, if you have worked hard, prepared well and feel ready to jump-start your soccer journey in a National League, sign up for our trials and you could potentially be signed on our team.

The total cost of the try out is $75 and must be paid online before the date of the trial. No cash will be accepted at the gate. Players will be required to come with their appropriate gear including indoor cleats, shin guard, proper soccer uniforms among others. For any questions e-mail us at info@fcminneapolis.com.
